Privacy and cancellation

Is Replika safe, and how do you cancel?

The privacy policy (27 May 2026) names Luka, Inc. as controller. It says your companion learns from your conversations and that small, immediately anonymized portions of messages train safety algorithms and improve the chatbot, but are not used to train third-party large language models. It also says conversation content is never used for marketing or advertising, while website-visit data is shared with advertising partners.

You can delete your account in settings; messages and content are kept for up to 60 days after the contract ends and financial records for at least ten years. Data is processed in the USA and encrypted in transit.

To cancel, use the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play; Replika says paid plans can only be changed there, and access continues to the end of the billing period. App Store purchases are final and partial months are not refunded; EU users have a 14-day withdrawal right until the service starts with their consent.
